​Youth Tennis/Pickleball Coach-posted January 2025 - Part-time

Openings in San Francisco, Marin, Berkeley, Peninsula, & South Bay!
Working with kids is one of the best jobs you will ever have!
We train and certify you in our teaching method. 
Local Coaches only. Must live in the area. 
No Equipment or Upfront Costs.  
Work 2-2.5 hours per shift, earn $80-$120 per shift. 
Must be available for a minimum of 2 shifts per week during afterschool hours M-F 2:30-4:30.

Higgins Tennis, Inc., one of the premier tennis & pickleball teaching programs in the Bay Area, is looking for new teachers for our Marin, San Francisco, East, and South Bay locations. 

Candidates will teach in some of the best independent schools in the Bay Area for with kids Pre-K - 3rd grade.

Experience: 
If you are an intermediate tennis player who wants to work with kids, is reliable, has the ability to think on your feet and convey your love of the game to kids who are eager to learn, then we want to hear from you!

Higgins Tennis, Inc. will offer a paid orientation and training of our teaching method before you begin and a competitive hourly rate thereafter.
Candidate must be available after school on two or more weekdays M-Friday 2:30-4:30 pm. Pay is $80-$120 for a 2 to 2.5 hour shift. This is a part-time employee position with no benefits. 

Candidate must have a car or have experience using public transportation successfully and being on time.

Because you will be working with kids, all candidates will be Livescan screened and must pass a Federal & State Background Check This is a tremendous opportunity to join a rapidly expanding tennis teaching company with loads of growth potential.

Tennis & Pickleball Professionals- posted January 2025.- Full or Part-Time

We are looking for an outgoing, and enthusiastic pro who wants to teach alongside and learn from an international group of pros and program managers.  We are based in the SF Bay Area and Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We are passionate about collaborating together to create  top-notch local community programming with a global reach.  

Pro must enjoy  & have expertise in working with groups of children 6-11, and adults from the Beginner to 4.0 level.   All candidates will be Livescan screened and must pass a Federal & State Background Check and must be authorized to work in the USA. We do not sponsor work visas. School Year Schedule: 15-25 hours a week group lessons plus privates. Summer Schedule: 4 hours a day M-F in summer camp, plus private lessons.

Primary Location: Ross  Recreation

Satellite Locations: The Ranch (Tiburon Recreation), Fairfax , and San Rafael.

Start Date: Early to mid March

Compensation:

Group Lessons- $50-70/hr - 10-15 hours a week

Private Lessons - $70-80/hr- 10+ hours a week

Full-time Employee Position

After 1 year of employment- raise to be determined based on success of program 

Pay commensurate with experience. 401 (K).
